Update: Iron Maiden's Australian dates have been postponed until further notice due to COVID-19.
Legendary heavy metal rockers Iron Maiden are returning to Australia next year May as part of their 'Legacy of the Beast' world tour. The six-date arena spectacle will kick off at Perth's RAC Arena, moving to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Brisbane Entertainment Centre and Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena before wrapping up with a two-night concert at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena. After the AU dates, the band will play an exclusive New Zealand show happening at Auckland's Spark Arena.
'The Legacy of the Beast' tour is being hailed by fans and media as Maiden's most extravagant and visually spectacular live show to date. Its production and decades-spanning set list are inspired by the band's free to play mobile game of the same name.
The legacy of Iron Maiden continues to sprawl with some of their fastest ever selling tour tickets and sell out headline stadium, arena and festival shows across Europe and North, South and Central America. The band have visited 39 countries around the globe since the tour opened last year, playing to close to two million fans, including a capacity crowd of 100,000 at Brazil's renowned 'Rock in Rio' festival. Their last album 'The Book of Souls' reached #1 in 43 countries.
Joining the 'The Legacy of the Beast' tour as special guests are Killswitch Engage. The multiple Grammy® Award-nominated band first shook the structure of heavy music upon climbing out of snowy industrialised Western Massachusetts in 2000. A musical outlier, the band pioneered a union of thrashed-out European guitar pyrotechnics, East Coast hardcore spirit, on-stage hijinks, and enlightened lyricism that set the pace for what the turn-of-the-century deemed heavy. They have garnered three consecutive Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top 200, and their total streams have exceeded half-a-billion to date.
Grab your tickets and witness Iron Maiden slaying their Australian shows next year!
