It's all systems go for Kesha's much-awaited Australian tour. Postponed in March and April because of a knee injury, nothing can stop the singer-songwriter now from performing for her Aussie fans this October. She will kick off her 'Rainbow Tour' at Melbourne's Margaret Court Arena then will make her way to the Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide and Eatons Hill Hotel in Brisbane before wrapping up at the International Convention Centre in Sydney.
The tour follows a celebrated era for Kesha. She released her triumphant latest Billboard No. 1 album 'Rainbow', completely sold out her North American headlining tour, and garnered two nominations at the 60th Grammy Awards—one for Best Pop Vocal Album (Rainbow) and the other for Best Pop Solo Performance for her platinum-certified, top 10 hit 'Praying'.
Rolling Stone described Kesha's live performances as "one of the most positively uplifting, inclusive concert experiences available in 2017." Backed by a live band and with her trademark swagger and playful snarl, Kesha will perform a set of her past global hits and other songs from 'Rainbow' (Kemosabe Records/RCA Records) which, apart from its Billboard success, has also topped the charts in nearly 30 markets worldwide and has been ranked No. 4 in Rolling Stone's '50 Best Albums of 2017'.
Joining her as special guest will be 'Praying' co-writer Ben Abraham. With credits to his name including Demi Lovato, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and of course Kesha, Ben is bound to impress crowds across Australia with his own stunning originals. Ben's debut album 'Sirens' was released in 2016 on Secretly Canadian to great critical acclaim.
