Fans of electro-house royalty Steve Aoki will be thrilled at news of an Australian summer tour. Having already dazzled his audiences worldwide, Aoki’s Australian dates promise to be colossal, particularly following his two-year absence from our shores.
Armed with his latest full-length LP, Wonderland, featuring collaborations with Chiddy Bang & Lil Jon, LMFAO & NERVO, will.i.am, Lovefoxxx (of CSS), Travis Barker (of Blink-182) and Kid Cudi - to name a few, Aoki is set to play a run of shows in October.
“This album is a collection of singles with all different kinds of songs… I wanted this album to show all the different kinds of production sounds I can do,” he says.
The much anticipated tour will include appearances at The Met, Brisbane, on Thursday 11 October, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Friday 12th, The Docklands in Melbourne on Saturday 13th, with shows rounding off at an exclusive event on Sunday 14th (location yet to be announced).
Tickets go on sale August 30 through Future.
